About Cambridge Bridge Club

According to its constitution, the purpose of Cambridge Bridge Club is:
"... the amicable conduct of duplicate contract bridge competitions of a high standard in accordance with the Laws of the game..."
The club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union (EBU). We offer two face to face, and  two online  sessions  each week. 

Visitors & New Members

We welcome visitors and new members! Visitors, please fill in the form for visitors.

If you would like to join CBC, please contact the Membership Secretary. Membership costs £15 per year (discounted to £5 for students), and the membership year runs from 1 June to 31 May. 

Hosted Sessions

Monday sessions are hosted. This provides the opportunity for players to arrive without a partner and still be able to play.

The committee is elected at the Club AGM each April. New volunteers to join the committee are always welcome - speak to the Chairman at any time!

The Trumpington Club

For beginners making the transition from learning bridge to playing duplicate in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, CBC recommends the Trumpington Club, which meets every Tuesday.

Venues

Face-to-face sessions are held at Trumpington village hall:
- Monday morning 10am
- Tuesday evening 7.30pm
Wednesday and Thursday sessions are held online:
- Wednesday 7.30pm on RealBridge
- Thursday 10am on BBO

Bridge Lessons

Bridge classes are provided for beginners (Wed evenings) and improvers (Mon evenings). Email Gladys at: beginners@cambridgebridgeclub.org or, alternatively, call on 01223 927067.

Online classes can be provided for beginners/improvers. Also online bridge coaching for intermediate/club duplicate players - an 8 week course including topics such as: declarer play, defence, slam bidding, competitive auctions, pre-empts, Michaels and Unusual 2NT.
